TECNOFIRE®

Integrated Fire Protection for Timber, Composite and Hybrid Fire Door Assemblies

Fire protection plays a critical role in maintaining compartmentation and limiting the spread of fire throughout a building. TECNOFIRE® is a range of graphite-based intumescent materials designed for integration within door assemblies. Tested to NFPA 252, UL 10C and CAN/ULC-S104, the materials help seal gaps, manage door leaf distortion and support fire resistance during fire exposure. Activated at temperatures above 190°C, TECNOFIRE® expands to form a stable insulating char, helping reduce heat transfer and limit flame spread in 30, 60 and 90-minute fire-rated doorsets.

EXPANSION DRIVEN FIRE PROTECTION

Designed for a Wide Range of Fire Door Applications

Suitable for a wide range of fire door designs, TECNOFIRE® can be incorporated into concealed and exposed sealing systems, door frames, head seals, lock and hardware areas, and composite door constructions.

Timber Fire Doors

Intumescent materials for timber fire doors, including concealed and exposed seal designs, frame seals, lipping applications and behind-lipping fire protection solutions.

Composite Fire Doors

Infusible grades can be directly integrated into the composite lay up, providing integral fire protection across the full surface of the door.

Door Head Seals

Fast-acting intumescent head seals designed to help reduce door leaf distortion, maintain fire door alignment and support compartmentation during fire exposure.
