What is Resillion™?

How it works
Resillion™ is a precious metal coating technology developed using a proprietary chemical deposition process that forms a uniform thin film with precise composition. It is specifically designed for electrolyser components and is highly compatible with various substrates, ensuring optimal efficiency and extended component lifespan.

Corrosion Resistance

Extended operational life. Electrolysers often operate in harsh, corrosive environments. Resillion™ coatings provide excellent corrosion resistance, protecting critical components from degradation.

Reduced Contact Resistance

Improved energy efficiency of the electrolyser system due to reduced contact resistance between components and enhanced electron flow.

High Adhesion Strength

The coating process ensures strong adhesion to the substrate, making the coatings durable and resistant to peeling or flaking.

Flexibility and Customisation

Our Resillion™ coatings can be tailored to specific requirements, offering flexibility in terms of thickness, composition, and properties to meet unique electrolyser stack requirements, whether that is complex shapes, large scale components or other properties.

 

Uniform Distribution

Due to the unique deposition of the technology, the Resillion™ process delivers a uniform distribution of coating. This uniformity is not limited by size or shape of the component, making it an optimal technology for use on parts that feature complex geometry or shapes.

Resillion™ has been developed at our Innovation Centre in the UK, but is available globally. The coating technology can be easily and rapidly scaled by customers through James Cropper’s Modular Production Unit (MPU) , which was launched last year.
