What is Vectis?

VECTIS is the technology platform that transforms fibre alignment from a concept into a production reality for the composites sector. Designed with performance-critical industries in mind, it delivers precision fibre alignment and material consistency at industrial scale.

Industrial Scalability

Engineered for high-volume manufacturing, VECTIS isn’t limited to lab-scale or pilot-scale output. With a production width of 1200mm OEM’s can scale from prototype – pilot- production without changing material systems.

Fibre Agnostic & Hybridisation

VECTIS is a fibre agnostic manufacturing method, meaning that the technology is able to align most fibre types, as well as manufacturing hybrid materials which combine two fibre types.

Alignment

VECTIS is able to align over 95% of fibres in one direction, enabling our unidirectional nonwoven material, UNIMAT.

Aerospace Quality

James Cropper adheres is AS9100 certified, meaning that VECTIS manufacturing processes and controls are highly monitored for consistency and quality.
