Hybrid Fibre Nonwovens
Combine multiple material properties within a single lightweight nonwoven. Our hybrid fibre nonwovens are engineered by blending carbon, aramid, glass and polyester fibres to deliver tailored combinations of conductivity, wear resistance, surface performance and multifunctional composite performance.
Hybrid Fibre Nonwovens
Why Hybrid Fibre Nonwovens?
Hybrid fibre nonwovens allow engineers to combine performance attributes that would traditionally require multiple materials. By blending carbon, aramid, glass and polyester fibres within a single nonwoven structure, manufacturers can tailor conductivity, abrasion resistance, surface finish and handling characteristics to suit specific application requirements. James Cropper's wet-laid manufacturing process enables highly uniform fibre distribution and precise control over material composition, supporting the development of bespoke solutions for demanding applications.
